About the Event

Geoff will talk about growing up gay in the 1950’s/60’s, ‘There was nothing that reflected who I knew I was. I grew up knowing what I wasn’t, not what I was.’ His journey to self-acceptance/coming out through Gay Liberation Front in 1971 – when he was a student at Goldsmiths College, London. What it was like attending the first Gay Pride March in July 1972. How and why this fuelled a lifetime of activism.
