About the Event

Singing workshop led by Jamie Dawes-Hughes from the Natural Voice Network, in collaboration with Roxane, a harmony junky! Jamie is an avid singer, arranger and choir leader based in North Wales. Jamie firmly believes that singing should be good fun, and that it should be for everyone, and not just the privileged few. He can't wait to come to Shrewsbury in January to share some of his favourite LGBT+ anthems and get everyone singing! Even if you’ve never sung before, come along and sing loudly and proudly. All are very welcome.

Jamie lives with his husband Seiriol in the seaside town of Caernarfon. He runs Gwaenysgor Community Choir and The Greenhouse Singers, as well as day workshops across the country. He's also acted as one of the guest leaders as part of Harmony Live, a mass community singing event that has run in London, Brighton and Bristol. He sings with the Spooky Men's Chorale, and their offshoot A Fistful of Spookies, as well as the mixed voice choir Côr Dre.
