About the Event

Rainbow Revolutions: Power, Pride and Protest in the Fight for Queer Rights by Jamie Lawson which focuses on defining moments for the LGBTQ+ community leading to the rise of the LGBTQ+ rights movements and celebrating the individuals who stood up and demanded recognition. We are so excited to have Jamie Lawson joining us for an evening event. Dr. Jamie Lawson is a queer anthropologist working at the University of Bristol and has written a book aimed at teenagers charting the rise of the LGBTQ+ rights movement during the 20th Century and celebrates the individuals who stood up and demanded recognition.
